The Pro Challeng North Region's Midweek Mayhem Series came to a close on Saturday, October 24th at the Concord Speedway quarter-mile. In an event postponed from earlier this summer, Casey LaJoie scored his first-ever Pro Challenge victory, thus clinching the Midweek Mayhem championship.
LaJoie joins his older brother Corey LaJoie in the Pro Challenge record books as series winners. Austin Thompson followed LaJoie to the line in second, with Ali Aquila, a UNC Charlotte Freshman in her Pro Challenge debut, finishing third.
