Concord Tentative Schedule

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14TH
8:15am - Pit gate open – Sign In
9:30am - Pro Challenge Pre- Tech open
10:00am - Pro Challenge Drivers and Spotters meeting at the Pro Challenge hauler (drivers and spotters only). If you miss the meeting you will start in the Rear. There WILL be a roll call.
10:30-10:45am - Pro Challenge Practice
11:30am – 12:00pm - Pro Challenge Final Practice
12:00pm – 1:00pm - Pro Challenge Final Tech. You must be in line by 12:15 pm or you will lose 1 lap qualifying
1:10pm - Pro Challenge lined up on the grid for Qualifying
2:15pm - Pro Challenge Autograph Session
3:00pm - Pro Challenge Feature Race 50 Laps
Note: The schedule is subject to change as the track and weather conditions dictate. Also, the schedule is tight, so plan your day accordingly and don’t miss the Tech time or the Driver’s meeting.
Supplemental Rules for National Championship Race
Points
The following will be the points awarded for finishing positions:
1. 200 points
9. 110 points
2. 180 points
10. 100 points

3. 170 points
11. 90 points
4. 160 points
12. 80 points
5. 150 points
13. 70 points
6. 140 points
14. 60 points
7. 130 points
15. 50 points
8. 120 points
16. and below 40 points
Bonus Points
The following Bonus Points will be awarded for the following:
1st Qualifier: 20 points
2nd Qualifier: 16 points
3rd Qualifier: 10 points
Leading a lap: 10 points
Most laps led: 10 points
Testing
Pro Challenge officials announced the lifting of the testing ban at Concord Speedway in advance of the October 31st events. Teams can now rent the track in advance of the event in addition to the open practice on Friday, October 30th ($150 per car on October 30th) and the event day, October 31st.
Qualifying
All cars must be through and passed PC Tech. before they will be allowed to qualify.
There will be two (2) laps of qualifying with the best lap being used for determining the starting position.
Impound
All cars will be impounded as they come off the track after qualifying. No adjustments will be allowed to the cars before the race other than removing tape or adjusting tire air pressures.
Any adjustments that must be made must be approved by PC Tech. Officials and will result in starting the race from the rear 1-lap down.
Feature Race
The race is planned to be 50 laps or 45 minutes whichever comes first. This is subject to change as dictated by the conditions on race day at the track.
Restarts will be double file as per the Pro Challenge Procedure. If you have any questions, please clarify with the PC Officials.
Post Race Tech. Inspection
The top five (5) cars must proceed to PC Tech. immediately after the race.
Only the Driver and two crew members (Clearly Identified) of the Top 5 cars will be allowed in the immediate Tech area. They should come prepared (with tools in hand) for major Tech inspection.
Tires
There are no Tire impound requirements for the race this year, but as always you must race on the tires you qualify on. Tires and tire changing service will be available at the track at the PC Hauler.
Practice
Practice will be available on Friday and Saturday check the current schedule. Practice prior to the Race weekend is allowed and arrangements can be made directly with Concord Motor Speedway.
Entry Fees
There will be no special entry fee for this race, however the normal Regional $50 entry fee must be paid to the Regional Pro Challenge Director as normal.
