2009 PASCAR MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
PASCAR, the Professional Association for Scale Car Auto Racing, was formed by Pro Challenge Race Cars following the 2006 season and introduced a refreshed National Points system to determine the National Championship during the “Pro Challenge Playoff.”
Like in 2007 and 2008, PASCAR will be overseeing all regional Pro Challenge events, as well as national point-paying events throughout 2009. It is mandatory for all team owners and drivers to be licensed members of PASCAR. Membership applications are $100 for the entire 2009 season, with all of the membership fees going into race purses, the year-end banquet and other competitor-related funds.
* EACH CAR MUST HAVE A REGISTERED DRIVER ($100) AND OWNER ($100). IF OWNER AND DRIVER IS THE SAME PERSON, BOTH FEES MUST STILL BE PAID, TOTALING $200. *
All drivers and owners wishing to compete in 2009 must have thier PASCAR Membership information returned to Pro Challenge before competition. Unlicensed drivers and owners will not be allowed to compete at any event without a PASCAR Membership.
All car owners and drivers throughout 2008 must be members of PASCAR. Any non-member owner or driver caught participating in a PASCAR event will be penalized.
All cars, engines and seals must be registered by serial number with PASCAR.
